Loan Department for adults with magazine and newspaper reading room

Loan department holding contains different sorts of materials – home and foreign literature of all genres, books in foreign languages, comic-books and graphic novels collection, multimedia publications. Collections of this department contain popular literature from the humanities, science, applied arts, information technologies and the arts. Most of the holding is in open access. Material is arranged according the UDC system.

Reading room with 13 separate tables, electronic reading room with 4 computers with internet access are available to users within the department. There is also multimedia corner where members can use multimedia materials (listen to music, watch films) from the library holding.

Within this department there is a reading room for periodicals. About 30 titles of periodicals are regularly provided – from daily newspapers to professional and entertaining magazines in different fields.
