What to Read?

What to read? Is a unique portal regarding recommendation of books published in Serbian language. The main goal of this portal is to help readers pick a good book and through this to have a positive influence on reading culture in Serbia.

The intention was not to promote only elite literature but to put on spot the best books of every genre.
Visitors can leave comments and tell their opinion on recommended books as well.

This project was initiated by Belgrade City Library and involves over 30 public libraries in Serbia. The recommendations are written by librarians, young literary critics and some of the most famous writers in Serbia.

Public Library “Vuk Kardzic” is a member of this project.
